Here are some tips and ideas that have made life much easier when on the road.

 

If you need a weight calculator for your van, this free app works well. 

 

A great help to unbolt the jockey wheel. A piece of chrome tubing that fits over the handle. Makes things a lot easier to turn.

 

I attached a spirit level on the draw-bar. This gets the van level before you unhitch. I then fine tune with another level on the fridge. Cost $7 from Pilgrams Caravans http://caravanandrvparts.com.au/.

 

A jerrycan holder is a great addition to extend your fuel range. Attached to draw-bar with a jockey wheel U-bolt kit from Auto One. Holder is an Ark brand available from most auto stores. A little modification but works really well. Total cost under $100.
